This was my first time at Osteria La Buca. I had driven by many a time and most people I knew had gone, so I figured it was time to check it out. I loved the ambience inside, soft lighting, hardwood floors and brick walls. The music was perfect, you could still hear it and enjoy it while chatting at your table. Our server was incredibly nice as well as very patient as we looked over the menu and asked questions. We went to with a seasoned vet who had been there a ton so we let them order the appetizers - Brussels sprouts, the artichokes and scallop crudo. My personal favorite was the artichokes, oh my goodness. My friends tried the branzino, the bucatini carbonara and the mushroom pizza. I had the spring pea ravioli. All were excellent, I may have found a new favorite spot. Good for groups, family and date night!

Had a weekday night out with some friends and decided to check out Osteria La Buca. For starters they served us their complimentary bread which is perfectly crispy and soft, and some of us opted for a glass of wine. For Mains we got a combo of pizzas and pastas; the classic pizza, sausage n' peppers pizza (highly reccommend!) and the guanciale pizza, pappardelle bolognese and rigatoni corto (highly recommend.) The service was quick and attentive but not overly friendly, and the vibes were simple and candle lit romantic.

Here's your edited review for Osteria La Buca in LA: My first visit to Osteria La Buca in LA was absolutely fantastic--I'm thrilled to have discovered this culinary gem! The restaurant's intimate lighting and rustic charm set the perfect stage for a romantic date night. Our evening began with a beautiful cheese and fig appetizer, simple yet flavorful, paired perfectly with crisp slices of toasted bread. The beef tartare was equally impressive; fresh, zesty, and the crispy onions on top added a satisfying crunch. We also savored a hearty bowl of carbonara, rich with flavors of pancetta and crowned with a perfectly poached egg, generously dusted with parmesan--a dish so delightful, it made us close our eyes to savor every bite. For dessert, the butterscotch pudding with a dollop of whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel was the perfect finale--sweet, smooth, and utterly indulgent. Despite being lactose intolerant, it was worth every spoonful; it's THAT good. Every dish at Osteria La Buca was a harmonious blend of authenticity and creativity, making it a must-visit for anyone who appreciates exceptional Italian cooking. Service was impeccable and I can honestly say that I'll gladly go back.

Amazing. Customer Service. From the moment we walked in, it was a great experience. I highly recommend the tiramisu if you are into sweets! Made IN HOUSE! Along with the pastas! The staff was all very kind and very attentive. Management was extremely kind too! Matthew made our first experience one to remember! I don't eat pork and unfortunately there were not chicken options. Subs are not available on pastas. Wine selection was great! We picked a wine recommended by management which was good! Street parking and valet available.

My family & I are celebrating my sister's bday this Friday, 05/03 and we're super excited to try Osteria La Buca. We're big fans of Italian food and while searching for a fantastic place to celebrate my sister's bday, I came across Osteria La Buca and did some research before I made reservations. My sister originally wanted to go to Bottega Louie in downtown L.A., but in my honest opinion, I think Bottega Louie is overrated, overpriced and it's all hype. And plus, the food isn't that great and you're really just going for the ambience and the dessert section. Osteria La Buca on the other hand seems more reasonable priced, the food looks homemade and authentic and just as good as Bottega Louie, or even better. When I called to make reservations for this Friday, the hostess went above & beyond to answer all my questions and I had a very positive experience. My family & I are very excited to try Osteria La Buca for the first time and you can bet, I'll be doing a follow up review of my experience at this restaurant. And by the way, I had an opportunity to chat with their restaurant manager, named Matthew and he was STELLAR! He was extremely friendly and helpful and super accommodating with my request.

10/10 dining experience always ! I've been coming here for years and always have such amazing food that is cooked to perfection, as well as the best service! We split the short ravioli (some of the best pasta I've ever had- best flavors) the classic pizza (delicious pizza all around! And the tiramisu (unreal... a perfect ending!) The restaurant is so cute inside and has an intimate yet open and lively vibe! Shout out to our server Josh and the manager Matthew for making our experience here so lovely tonight!

Went with friends after a long day of work and this place was delicious. So glad that it stayed open late for that late night Pasta craving. The service was 10/10. The host was so sweet and attentive and Ben our server was so attentive and so nice. He was great. The ambiance was relaxing and I LOVED the music that they were playing. I had the chicken parmesan with broccolini. 10/10. Will definitely be back!

Ambiance was cozy and warm. The lighting was quite dark, so it was hard to see the food/environment. I was a fan of the decor - it seemed like a popular date spot. The food was pretty good! I really enjoyed the crispy brussel sprouts - the white anchovy vinaigrette was scrumptious. The short rib ravioli was their speciality. Definitely a good choice for cheese lovers. However, I could not taste the short rib filling over the heavy cheese sauce. The soppressata pizza was warm and delicious. The spicy salami provided a good kick to the pizza, and I enjoyed how thin the crust was. It was a good dining experience, although the service was rather slow.
